Mammoth Mountain Ski Area operates a four-season mountain resort in California's Eastern Sierra at an elevation of 11,053 feet. Founded in 1953, the resort encompasses 3,500 acres of skiable terrain across 178 marked trails served by 25 mechanical lifts. The area receives an average of 400 inches of snowfall annually, supporting winter skiing and snowboarding operations alongside spring terrain park sessions.
Beyond winter sports, Mammoth Mountain operates a summer mountain bike park featuring over 80 miles of single-track trails. The resort manages three named lodging properties - Juniper Springs Resort, The Village Lodge, and The Westin Monache - alongside a retail network that has operated since the resort's founding. As part of Alterra Mountain Company, Mammoth Mountain pass holders gain access to additional destinations across North America.
The resort's operations span lift systems and mountain infrastructure maintenance, bike park administration, hospitality and lodging management, and retail operations for outdoor and mountain equipment. The facility is positioned to accommodate visitors across skill levels and serves as a year-round destination for mountain recreation and tourism.
