Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with the organizing and directing all aspects of a successful and competitive collegiate program. The recruitment of qualified student-athletes and a demonstrated commitment to their personal, athletic, and academic success are essential. Responsibilities may also include recruiting, travel management, scheduling, player development, and budget management. This is a part-time appointment.
- Assist in the process of recruiting prospective qualified student-athletes.
- Assist in the development and supervision of practice and game planning.
- Assist with the organization of team travel.
- Effectively demonstrates technical skills at the collegiate level
- Assist with fundraising.
- Ensure compliance with all College, NCAA Division III and GNAC policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as required by the Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Previous coaching experience at the secondary and/or college level preferred
